Dear Friends, After a half a year of fruitful activities, Praying Together in Jerusalem will hold an event on May 9th between 18:00 to 20:00 at the Tantur Ecumenical Institute where it all began, located at the intersection of Hebron Road and HaRosmarin Street near the entrance to Bethlehem and Rachel’s Tomb. Join us for an evening of prayer, conversation and fellowship as we enjoy a beautiful Jerusalem sunset during a season of holy days within the different calendars of the Abrahamic faiths. The vision is not to merge our prayers or create a single prayer, but to allow us to each pray in his/her own way alongside each other. This will be an opportunity for both current and prospective participants to not only conduct our respective prayers side by side, but also to discuss our goals, share our experiences, and socialize in a spiritual setting. | A supervised kosher (which is also Halal) meal and refreshments will be offered. All are invited, regardless of their faith. Please check our event page on Facebook to see updates of possible transportation options. Those who RSVP will also receive this information. For more information, and to RSVP, please either confirm via Facebook or email us at: [email protected] Blessings, Russ McDougall, Peta Jones Pellach, Eliyahu McLean and Yehuda Stolov |
